Editorial standards
How we report, edit and correct
These standards apply to every ASLUCK Studios publication: Something Navy, StopCop.City and PTET GGTU. Each title may add its own style rules on top.

Ownership
ASLUCK Studios is a privately owned digital media company registered in the United Kingdom, with offices in London and Gurugram. We own and operate Something Navy (somethingnavy.com), StopCop.City (stopcop.city) and PTET GGTU (ptetggtu.com). We do not take editorial direction from any government, political party or advertiser.
Accuracy and sourcing
- We check facts against primary sources wherever possible: official documents, court records, government notices, company filings and on-the-record interviews.
- We link to our sources so readers can check them. Where a source cannot be linked, we describe it as precisely as we can.
- We attribute claims clearly. We don’t present speculation as fact.
- For exam, recruitment and scheme coverage, we link to the official notification and the official website for applications.
- We use anonymous sources only when there is no other way to report a story of public importance, and an editor must approve it.
Independence and conflicts of interest
Writers and editors must tell their editor about any personal, financial or professional interest in a story they work on. They may not accept gifts, payment or travel from people or organisations they cover.
Advertising and sponsored content
Our sites are funded by advertising. Advertisers have no influence over editorial decisions. Any sponsored or affiliate content is clearly labelled as such. Display ads are kept visually separate from editorial content.
Corrections policy
When we publish an error of fact, we correct it promptly and add a note to the article explaining what changed and when. We don’t quietly change facts in published stories. Minor fixes such as spelling or formatting may be made without a note.
To report an error, email the publication’s editors with the article link and the correction needed. General contact: contact@asluckstudios.com.
Updates
Fast-moving stories such as results, deadlines and breaking news are updated as new information comes in. Updated articles show the date of the latest update.
Use of technology and AI tools
Our teams use software tools, including AI tools, to help with research, transcription, data handling and drafting. An editor reviews and approves every article before it is published, and the publication is responsible for everything it publishes. We don’t present AI-generated images as real news photographs.
Images
We credit every image. We use our own photos and graphics, licensed stock images, official handout images, and images under suitable open licences.
Fairness
We give people and organisations facing serious allegations a fair chance to respond before publication, and we report their response. We avoid language that stereotypes people by race, religion, gender, caste, disability or nationality.
Feedback
We welcome feedback from readers. Contact the relevant publication or write to contact@asluckstudios.com.
